Part I
Long
ago,
A
great soldier walked the Earth by the name of Theos,
A
brave and humbled man,
Who
lived with his with his beautiful wife Eumelia,
And
infant son Artemis.
Theos
was the general of the Hoplites
The
greatest warriors that Greece has ever known,
But
Theos was the mightiest of them all.
He
possessed ferocious strength and thunderous ability in combat.
Many
say that he was one of the fiercest swordsmen to have ever lived.
Fighting
over two-thousand battles,
Slaying
his opponents with his mystical sword and shield he called
Anikitos
and Alondra.
It
is said that Anikitos and Alondra was forged with the blood of Typhon,
"The
Father of All Monsters",
So
big that when he stood his head touched the moon and stars,
Released
by Hades to Set Hell on Earth in the battle of Olympus and the Underworld
Slayed
by no other than Zeus the God of the Heavens.
This
tale traveled far and wide
Along
with the name Theos.
Whose
victories sang
From
Earth to Olympus.
Where
the Gods watched with elation,
Creating
whispers of his prestige across the palaces of marble and gold
Until
the Gods called him
"Theos
the Mighty Mortal"
Zeus,
The
Father of all the Gods
Became
aware of the Mighty Mortal
His
bravery,
His
humbleness,
And
his skill in combat.
Zeus
decided that he would make Theos a demigod
To
live immortally in Olympus,
And
lead the Army of the Heavens as its commander.
He
held a great meeting to inform all the Gods of his plan.
The
Gods across Olympus cheered
Ecstatic
from the news that was received from their father.
No
mortal had accomplished such a feet.
To
be made a demigod by Zeus himself
The
name Theos brought celebration to Olympus,
And
everyone took part in festivities.
Except
for one
Ares.
Ares,
The
God of War,
The
Son of Zeus,
Was
filled with rage
And
fury
He
wanted nothing more but to lead his father’s army.
Ares,
Filled
with blood-lust,
Took
pleasure in war and murder.
He
was feared across Olympus
Through
the heavens
To
the Stars
On
the Earth.
He
was outraged at his father’s request
To
make a mere mortal a demigod,
To
give a man his title,
His
birth right.
But
Ares knew there was no changing his father’s mind
He
was going to be stripped of his title
No
longer the God of War
He
trembled with anger
He
shook with fear of no longer being feared
Until
he heard a whisper
So
faint as if coming from a cloud.
Ares
asked for the voice to speak louder
The
voice in a raspy tone spoke
"I
can help you" it said
Ares
heard this voice before
The
voice was spine-chilling
As
if all the things in the dark spoke at once
"Kill"
the voice spoke again
"Kill?"
Ares asked
"Kill
Theos" the voice answered
Ares
knew who this voice belong to
With
no doubt in his mind
He
knew it belonged to Hades.
His
anger subsided
He
grew calm,
His
fears ceased,
His
Problems now had an answer
And
the most vicious smirk slithered across his face
"How?"
He asked
-Don
