Been in
school for less than 48 hours and my days are already filled with stuff to do,
From 5 am until about 2 am. For those of you who don’t know, I am a
student-athlete at Southern Connecticut State University, where I play football
and I am enrolled in the Interdisciplinary Studies program. My degree consists
of Psychology, Sociology, and Exercise Science, which would help me get into
Occupational Therapy school when I graduate. Those of you who are students I
know you can vouch for me when I say being a full-time or part-time student is
very hard, and if you’re an athlete as well, you know it is even harder. With
two workouts a day and a six-classes schedule this semester, I will definitely
not be getting much sleep. But as much as it may seem like I am complaining
about the time ahead, I can't say with a straight face that I am not excited.
Not only will I be graduating in fall, but I will have a chance to spend more
time with my friends, play another season, and enjoy everything that can be
enjoyable about being in college … Yes, including the food lol. The best part
is that I will be able to bring you guys with me on the home stretch of this
very long marathon that I have been running for a while now. Through all the up
and downs I am here and close to the finish line! so stay tuned because there
is plenty to share with you Musers.
